Anthony & Sylvan Ashland delivered an amazing experience front to back with our pool and backyard oasis project.  From design, construction management, the quality of the contractors and their work to the quality control, I was informed and prepared every step of the way through completion. This was a large project with multiple contractors in addition to A&S.  They worked with me to ensure everything was completed in a timely manner and accommodated my schedule as needed when other parts of the project had be completed before A&S could move forward.  There were no major obstacles during construction and it was easy to work through the small, normal hiccups you deal with during construction.  I can't say enough good things about A&S.  There are not a lot of gunite pool contractors in RVA and A&S was clearly the most thorough when I was choosing a contractor while having a very competitive price. Special shoutouts to Colin for being on site over 25 times to put eyes on each phase of construction and ensure the work was done properly before moving to the next phase.  Chloe is an absolute rockstar handling scheduling and direct communication with me to keep me informed of when contractors would be coming and what exactly would be happening while they were on site.  She was proactive initiating communication with me and I never once had to chase her down if I needed to speak with her.  With a background in construction myself I did months of research prior to meeting with A&S, but our designer Tom helped me dial in the design.  We worked through some specific site challenges and concerns.  His attention to detail and ability to work through those obstacles ensured there were no surprises or unexpected costs later in the project.  I only had to speak with Vicky, the construction manager, once and she listened and handled my concern swiftly.  Thank you Terrance for starting up my salt cell and answering a few quick questions I had after a month of living with the pool.  Lastly, a very appreciative shoutout to the contractors Chris, TSG, E&J and especially Tanner for always taking the time to work with me to make sure everything was done properly the first time and how I wanted it. We had an excellent experience with the service team at Anthony & Sylvan Pools. From start to finish, everyone was attentive, prompt, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Vicky was wonderful to work with and helped get us scheduled quickly after a previous pool company left us with a mess and essentially abandoned the job. Terrance came out, thoroughly cleaned the pool, and also took care of several minor maintenance items while he was here. Anthony and Sylvan blew away all expectations.  The finished product is incredible.  The team (and in particular Chloe and Colin and Mike) were by far the best contractors with by far the clearest communication and by far the most effort and attention to detail and quality of any contractor or professional of any type I have ever interacted with. We had an excellent experience throughout our pool-building process. Tom did an amazing job designing our pool, walking us through all the available options, and patiently answering every question we had along the way. His expertise made the design process smooth and enjoyable. Colin, our project manager, was outstanding. He was always available, highly communicative, and kept us informed through every stage of the project. He regularly visited the site, ensured the work was progressing on schedule, and made sure the quality of the build met expectations. Chloe was fantastic in coordinating and scheduling the crews. She consistently provided updates and kept everything organized, making the entire process stress-free and transparent. We are extremely happy with our new pool and the overall experience. We wanted to express our thanks for the outstanding assistance Terrance provided during our salt conversion for our new Anthony&Sylvan pool. He explained everything  very clearly as he was going through the equipment. When we asked if he could go through the filter cleaning steps, he assisted us while also sharing many tricks of the trade. Terrance was super helpful, and he brought us way up the learning curve.We understand Terrance is part of A&S’s new service department. Anthony & Sylvan delivered the pool of our dreams in a timely fashion!  Everyone on the staff were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, starting with Tom in sales who helped design our pool.  Chloe and Jessica did a great job at scheduling/planning the installation and keeping us informed throughout the build process. Anthony & Sylvan - Virginia + Vicky have been great!  They completed my pool about 4 years ago. They stay in contact and respond timely to any of my questions.  Their service and warranty departments have always responded quickly and always helpful.  They do what is reasonable and best for their clients.
