Inground Pool Resurfacing

Breathe new life into your pool

Pool refinishing is recommended every 8 to 15 years - as your pool starts to look aged, unclean or unsafe. Resurfacing your pool is also an option if you want to update the appearance of your pool. Pairing resurfacing with new tile, coping or decking can completely transform your pool’s appearance.

Pool resurfacing is a large undertaking that is best left to professionals. Trust the experienced team at Anthony & Sylvan to take your pool from out of date to out of this world with a new finish.

Pool Refinishing Process

Pool-renovation craftsmen begin by preparing the existing surface to accept a new finish by chipping the existing finish or sandblasting the pool if it has been painted. Depending on the conditions of the existing surface, a bonding coat is sometimes added to help the new surface adhere to the existing surface. The new coating is then hand applied to make the swimming pool look new again.

Pool Finish Options

Plaster

Known for its durability, plaster is the most affordable and most common option for concrete pool finishes. While there are many colors to choose from, darker colors absorb sunlight better and can save you money on pool-heating costs.

Aggregate Interior Finishes

Aggregate finishes are becoming more popular thanks to their durability and inherent color variety. The wide range of color options allows you to customize your pool to look like a natural part of your backyard or your favorite beach.
