Great work constructing new pools.  I had posted a critical review of never being able to speak with a live person for customer service and my on-going frustrations... then I had the good fortune of finally getting hold of a live person and the experience was fantastic!  Aly M., saved the day and probably saved me from looking elsewhere for pool services.  Not only was she able to help with all of my questions and pool service needs, she was professional, thorough and 100% provided exactly the assistance that I needed.  I am very grateful for her help.  To be honest, when I have been able to deal directly with an A&S employee, they have always been friendly and helpful.  The technicians who open and close my pool have likewise been excellent.  The problem has always been finally getting through to a live person, and doing so in a timely manner as opposed to after multiple attempts.  If A&S could drastically improve the automated customer interface and make it easier and faster to speak with a LIVE person, I would definitely rate the overall company higher. I had another great service experience today and decided it was time to leave a review. We had some recurring issues with our pool and spa lights that I couldn’t fix on my own, so I called A&S to get some help. Matt and Sam came out this morning and fixed the problem, which is great, but they did something else that I appreciated: they took the time to really troubleshoot the issue, rather than just replacing parts and hoping for the best. Once they’d ruled out some of the potential causes (which would have been more expensive to repair or replace), we knew the right course forward. That may sound like a small thing, but I walked away from the service call with confidence that the “fix” was going to stick. They also explained my choices and took the time to show me how the new lights I chose would look (I like them better than the originals, but it’s really good that I wasn’t surprised). They also showed me how to recalibrate my salt sensor, which was throwing errors (too high) that were contradicted by my chemical testing. Outstanding customer service and technical support by the Jessup service team! As a long-time Anthony and Sylvan pool owner, their Jessup service department is the first place I call when I have questions or need reliable service and warranty support for our 18,000 gallon in-ground swimming pool. Although I'm a pretty good "pool boy" in my household, I needed some expert guidance from a real person - not a chat bot.  Anthony and Sylvan service advisor Matt Hughes patiently explained how to use "service mode" to lower the water level in our spa, and then how to return the system to auto mode.  Kudos to Matt for his superior knowledge and patient customer service skills! Much thanks also to service department scheduler Allie Moser for calling me back after I left a voicemail message (not the usual outcome in today's world) and facilitating my connection to Matt. Sam and Matt came out today to put a new part on my pool pump.  I have met these gentlemen before; they are so friendly, polite, experienced, professional, etc.. Anthony&Sylvan Pools is the best in the area and Matt and Sam are shining examples of the quality service you can expect from this company. I had Anthony and Sylvan install a pool for me 35 years ago. They always open and close my pool. This year, I had the best experience opening my pool with the technicians Larry and Kyle. From pre-construction to post production, everything was professionally done. Make sure you personally ask for Brian Reyes to be your project manager. As he is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his job. He actually cares about your comfort in understanding your new pool. He literally walked us from A-Z on everything even after we had pool school. Wow!  What an incredible experience and journey we took with A/S for our backyard oasis.  It all started with a beautifully designed pool, patio, and outdoor spaces with Brian A.  Then the entire "in-house" team at A/S and their responsive ability to schedule everything as if they were a Navy Seal Team!!!! Then we get introduced to Phillip LaClair and man, what an absolute joy to work with.  His attention to details and "knack' for every single operational process made every visit something to look forward to because you knew progress was happening--and getting done the right way.  So many great people along the way from the digging, re-bar, gunite team was incredible, plumbing and electric guys were top notch, gas meter folks!!!, etc --the patio team was excellent, and the team that finished the plaster were genuinely as excited as we were to finally get it all done!!!  Heck, even the 2 guys that delived to water were excited for us!!! Due to colder than expected weather late Fall, we wern't able to get the plaster done until last week.  Totally worth the wait!!!   Phillip was able to keep his routine buttoned up and checked on us (and the pool shell) all winter long.  Pool School was a ton of information but Phillip made it simple for us and we are now seeing all the beauty in owning a pool and enjoying our Oasis!  Even though we can't jump in--yet-- it is simply awesome to look at it and relax!! Sam and Matt came today to close my pool down. They were both awesome! They helped me learn about the filtering system and showed me what to do. They helped me learn how to take my cover off, they showed me the tools they were using, what they were taking apart and answered all of my questions. These two guys took time with me which is very appreciated. Thank you Matt and Sammy!
