Anthony & Sylvan Pools presents $500 donation as part of its “Building Strong Swimmers Program”
06.09.2009 – To kick off its “Building Strong Swimmers Program,” Anthony & Sylvan Pools Vice President, Jerry Strauss, presented a $500 donation to Tracey Atkinson, Senior Program Director of the YMCA of Burlington County, which oversees the Riverfront YMCA and the Mt. Laurel YMCA. The presentation took place during a youth swimming class.
Anthony & Sylvan Pools values healthy living and family fun, and recognizes that these ideals can be promoted through swimming. The YMCA, where “America Learns to Swim,” shares Anthony & Sylvan’s dedication to the community in providing families and individuals with a place to come together and improve health and fitness.
“Building Strong Swimmers” creates partnerships that:
· Reach out to children who may not otherwise be able to afford swimming lessons
· Promote the value of swimming and pool safety
