Pool Water Features

Explore water features for inground pools

Custom water features allow you to personalize your new inground pool - whether you are seeking a tranquil retreat or family fun zone in your backyard. There are a wide variety of pool features available - waterfalls, fountains, jets and more.

Water features also circulate the pool water, which helps keep your pool clean by moving debris toward the filter and distributing pool chemicals more evenly.

Types of Water Features

This elegant home is balanced by a geometric pool that features a raised spa, sheer descent waterfalls, paver decking and coping, and deck jets.

Laminar Jets

Laminar jets send a smooth arc of water into your pool. Jets can be customized by water speed and height. Fiber-optic lighting can also be incorporated to send color through the stream of water. Jets can be built into the decking or hardscape of your pool, or hidden in shrubs or planters.

Additions & Upgrades

Sheer-Descent Waterfalls

Sheer-descent waterfalls, also known as “water curtains,” are a type of waterfall that looks like a smooth ledge of water falling into the pool. Water curtains are available in many shapes and sizes – from 8 inches to 8 feet wide. While offered in a variety of finishes, hammered metal finishes are popular and can either be polished or left alone to age with beauty.

Rock Waterfalls

Rock waterfalls can be incorporated to create a natural-looking oasis in your backyard. The design of the waterfall and the speed of the water is customizable, so you can decide if you want a discreet trickle or a thundering river of water falling into your pool.

Fountains

Adding one or more fountains can create a focal point for your new swimming pool. Water fountain streams can originate from under the water in your pool, or from stand-alone fountains added to the side of your pool.
