
Mr. Strauss lectured the students on “Strategies for Selling a Luxury Product in a Down Economy” to help them prepare for real-world situations as they move toward graduation and their professional lives after college. He utilized Anthony Sylvan as a case study to help the students focus on ways to successfully prepare for fluctuations in the economy when they get into the working world and how their futures, and the futures of their employers, would be affected by their behavior today. Mr. Strauss asserted that Anthony Sylvan has moved thru up-and-down economic cycles for more than six decades and has proven methods to handle downturns – even when selling a luxury product.
